These Terms & Conditions govern your use of myartist.in (the "platform"), a marketplace connecting people hiring event artists with performers and service providers. By using this website, submitting an enquiry, or creating an artist profile, you agree to these terms. They will be revised as our services, including future booking and payment features, develop further.
What We Do
myartist.in helps people discover and get in touch with independent artists - musicians, singers, dancers, DJs, hosts, comedians, makeup artists and other performers for weddings, corporate events, birthdays, college fests, cultural events, devotional gatherings and similar occasions. We currently facilitate introductions and enquiries; we are not the employer of any artist listed.
For People Hiring Artists
- Enquiries submitted through our forms or WhatsApp are shared with relevant artists to help arrange your event.
- Final pricing, availability, deliverables and terms of engagement for a booking are agreed directly between you and the artist, unless stated otherwise at the time.
- We aim to feature genuine, verified profiles, but we do not guarantee the availability, conduct or performance quality of any individual artist.
For Artists Creating Profiles
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information, media and pricing you share on your profile.
- You agree not to post content that is misleading, infringes someone else's rights, or violates applicable law.
- We may remove or suspend profiles that appear inactive, inaccurate or in breach of these terms.
Bookings and Payments
At present, myartist.in does not process payments directly. Where a booking or payment feature is introduced in the future, additional terms specific to that feature will be published and linked from this page, and your continued use of the platform after such terms are introduced will constitute acceptance of them.
Enquiries and Contact Information
By submitting an enquiry, you consent to us and the relevant artist(s) contacting you using the details you provide, for the purpose of discussing your event. See our Privacy Policy for more on how we handle your information.
Limitation of Liability
myartist.in is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not make any guarantees regarding uninterrupted availability of the website, or the outcome of any engagement between a person hiring an artist and an artist. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, particularly as new features are introduced. Continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the revised terms.
